4well rounded shoulders hunched back brace - How to put and wear instructions?

Dear Customer,

We appreciate you purchasing our product and wish you success in your journey to better posture. Please take a moment to read the simple tips below. They will help you get the most out of your back brace and feel results faster.

You’ve purchased our back brace to support better posture, reduce slouching (rounded or “hunched” shoulders) and ease back strain. Used correctly, a brace can remind your body to stay upright and help you build better habits. Please read the instructions and comfort tips below.

How to start wearing your brace:
It’s recommended that you begin wearing your brace over shorter periods of time, 30–40 minutes at first. Starting with shorter increments allows you to build back strength and avoid discomfort. If you start with long sessions, it may feel uncomfortable and discourage further use.

  • The hybrid design of our back brace allows freedom of movement, breathability and reduced sweat.

  • While the posture corrector limits unnecessary rounding of your shoulders, you should still move your arms freely. When putting it on, make sure it’s not too tight (no numbness or swelling).

  • This is not a rigid corset. It will not lock your spine. Sit up tall, maintain good posture, and don’t fight against the straps.

How to adjust the brace:
Position the brace so the back panel sits directly between your shoulder blades. Place the straps around your arms. Pull back gently to tighten. You should feel light resistance, not pain. If it starts to hurt or pinch, loosen the straps.

How to continue to wear your brace:

Once you are comfortable at 30–40 minutes, add 5–10 minutes per session as comfort allows. It’s not recommended to wear the brace continuously. Take it off for sleeping, workouts and long periods. Most users feel best with a total of 1–3 hours per day (with breaks). Avoid getting reliant on the brace. Over time, discomfort will decrease — that’s a sign your posture habits are improving. When you can sit and stand tall without help, reduce use.

Some tips to make you more comfortable:

  • Wear a breathable layer under or over the brace to prevent rubbing and odors.

  • Do small movement breaks every 30–60 minutes (walk, shoulder rolls, gentle stretches).

  • Skin check: if you notice irritation, loosen the straps or take a short break.

  • Do not sleep in the brace.

Who should not wear the brace without medical advice

Recent injury or surgery, significant scoliosis/kyphosis, neurological symptoms (numbness/tingling), osteoporosis concerns, or persistent pain. If unsure, speak with a clinician first.

Simple exercises to pair with your brace (1–2 sets daily)

Adding a few easy moves helps you keep shoulders back naturally:

  • Doorway chest stretch — opens tight chest from slumping.

  • Band pull-aparts / rows / back fly — wake up mid-back (rhomboids, lower traps).

  • Wall slides — smooth shoulder blade control.

  • Chin tucks — reduce forward head posture.

Fit & sizing

Choose size by chest circumference. If between sizes, many prefer the larger for comfort. Keep the back panel centered between the shoulder blades and straps flat against the body.

Results & expectations

Many users feel a posture cue immediately. Habit change usually takes 2–3 weeks when you combine the brace with short daily sessions, movement breaks and the simple exercises above. The goal is to maintain good posture after you take the brace off.

Care

Hand-wash cold. Air-dry flat. Avoid heat to preserve elastic recovery.
